I am a postdoctoral researcher and part-time lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Amsterdam.

I study an extraordinary phenomenon called synesthesia. I use touch-color synesthesia to develop sensory substitution for the blind, and use grapheme-color synesthesia as a tool to understand written language representation in the brain.

In my free time, I like to cook, travel, and play squash.
